Eps 216-230
- 216:Boruto has taken us outside of the main Konoha Village, to where Naruto & Sasuke can have a better change to take him on, whilst this is happening Kawaki still in Konoha is having some discussions with Amado & Shikamaru, not knowing how the situation will unfold with Boruto, Naruto & Sasuke.
- 217:Naruto is now fighting against Isshiki in Baryon Mode, as Sasuke watches over Boruto, who was injured by Isshiki, Kawaki notices his prosthetic hand from the Hokage is weakening in its chakra, having Kawaki anxious about the present situation at hand outside the village.
- 218:Isshiki has managed to bring Kawaki into the battle, teleporting him from Konoha to the outside the Village as to where Boruto, Naruto & Sasuke are, as he tries to sway Kawaki to come back to him, as things change up in the fighting Boruto gets possessed by Momoshiki. (Goodbye Kurama)
- 219:After the battle against Isshiki, Kawaki, Boruto, Sasuke & Naruto have returned to the village, learning from Amado, that Code who is an inner disciple of Kara, also bears a Karma mark of his own, that is presently inactive, without knowing what it can do when activated.
- 220:Naruto has been in discussion on the situation in the village around Boruto, Kawaki, Amado, an what happened in relation to Isshiki, only to have a hard question bought up in order keep the village safe, as Kawaki gets an invite from Sumire to come to the Konoha hospital.
- 221:The Hidden Leaf Genin have now be bought back to once again to having Chunim Exams once again, as the 1st exam is completed, the Genin are moved to the next of who passed the last exam, going into the Forest Of Death.
- 222:With the genin who completed the last round, they now have time to prepare for the final round & given a day off, with the final round of fights, they now have permission to use the scientific ninja tools, to which a genin takes in acct to practice with.
- 223:Its finally the day of the final round of the Chunim Exam, an its time for the participants to get to where they will need to be, will all of them make it to the Chunim Exam Arena in time.
- 224:As the Chunim Exam continues, Boruto & Mitsuki have been asked by Himiwari to help with a situation, as Sarada waits to see if they both make it to the Chunim Arena in time.
- 225:With the Chunim Exam still continuing, it is now Sarada vs ChoCho, with Sarada wondering where Boruto & Mitsuki are, as this is happening Kawaki has caught the eye of Shinki who is eager to find out more about him.
- 226:Boruto & Mitsuki have been disqualified for not turning up for there match in the Chunim Exam, as things draw closer to the last opponents to go up against each other. Denki who is into science & technology goes up against Tsubaki who has grown up in learning the way of the Samurai in there next match.
- 227:Team 7 prepare for Sarada’s Graduation ceremony, an wanting to close up some loose ends with Konahamaru, they learn he is on a mission with Mirai, as Sarada seeks to be Team 7s new captain, Team 7 learn that Konahamaru has been captured from Mirai, an seek to help him out as well to getting closure in a situation.
- 228:In the Uzumaki household, today is the day to where Kawaki makes his slow path to becoming a Genin, as apart of that training Hokage Naruto, decides to put Kawaki on a low rank mission to help him to socialize an make new friends, learn what it is like to work in a team environment.
- 229:As Kawaki has been put on his mission with Shikadai & ChoCho, Naruto at his Hokage office has received news of the deaths of young kids who have been killed by a specialized Ninja art, whilst this is occuring, Boruto, Sarada & Mitsuki are doing a lower rank mission, to which Team 7 suspect something suspicious that some livestock they were transporting in some strangers they came across in there journey.
- 230:As Kawaki is on the mission taking Mozuku back to the land of the calm seas, they are attacked by one of the retainers who are also from the same land, who seek to use the medicine for exploitative purposes, Team 7 also get a message to help Team 10 out in relation to the suspicious activity around the Client from the Land Of The Calm Seas, as Kawaki gets a glimpse into the Shinobi lifestyle.
Afterthoughts
The 1st 5 episodes to returning to Boruto were quite interesting as there was a lot happening in these episodes from Boruto transporting Sasuke & his dad Naruto to a location away from the hidden leaf to go up against & fight Isshiki, as the fight goes on for quite a number of episodes, to which we get to see Naruto use Baryon mode on Isshiki, to which it made things slightly difficult for Isshiki to fight Naruto, that even Sasuke sensed a change in his Chakra.
With around the mid point of these 1st 5 episodes, we do get a very real moment, not only for Naruto & the loss of Kurama, but also for Boruto, to which he feels that he lost his father, who fought against Isshiki, an eventually a fight against Isshiki & Kawaki happens, plus another against Boruto who was possessed Momoshiki who goes against him too, when the battle is over we learn some things from Amado who is basically preparing us the view of another upcoming threat that will come to the hidden leaf being Code who is an inner cult member of Kara, until eventually Boruto, Kawaki, Naruto & Sasuke finally return to the Hidden Leaf.
Moving into the next 5 episodes, Naruto decides to bring back the Chunin Exams once again to which it also gives some other Genin some time to shine outside of Team 7, as the students complete certain exams, with so many passing as well to those failing to try again another time, we do get some interesting fights as well to things that get Boruto & Mitsuki distracted in relation to Amado, people interested in what he has to offer to help them become strong nations in the Ninja world, as this is occurring Gaara has sent Shinki along with his teammates to the Hidden Leaf at Naruto’s call to also help watch over Kawaki as the Chunin Exam is happening, was quite an interesting interaction they had together.
Moving into the last 5 episodes we start to reach the end of the Chunin Exams, as well to learning as to who the Chunin students will be in the Hidden Leaf, I must admit the way the Chunin Exams have changed from picking 1 student, to picking multiple students who made it to rank of Chunin really caught me by surprise as we saw Sarada, Denki plus 2 more Genin who also made the rank to Chunin, to which they can now be a captain of a Genin team, an go onto harder missions.
As things progress towards the end of these last episodes, we get Naruto trying to find a way to help Kawaki improve on his social skills, to being put on some missions with some of the teams, which at 1st he is quite hesitant, until he is put on a mission with Shikadai & ChoCho with a client from The Land Of The Calm Seas, called Mozuku, a discussion brews up between them throughout the mission time, as they both learn they have someone they look up to as this draws towards Kawaki’s path to becoming a Shinobi in the Hidden Leaf, upon his hardship on his mission, Shikadai also takes some time with Kawaki when the mission is finished, an shows where the Hidden Leaf honor their Shinobi, giving him something to think about.
As we approach the last scene of these 5 episodes we finally get another reunion between Kawaki & Naruto, with Kawaki expecting the worst, he finds out some good news, he didn’t quite expect.
I really enjoyed returning to the Boruto anime, as I also have the manga to catch up with too, I definitely enjoyed the animation, to both the main & supporting characters, to which I really think the supporting characters really shined in a number of these 15 episodes all up, an how well this story is progressing.
I stick with my rating I give, an look forward to sharing more reviews on this series.
